Core meaning
The Black Moon, or Lilith, is not a physical planet. It is a calculated point linked to the Moon's orbit, often read through the lunar apogee. In Arcadia, Lilith describes a non-negotiable point in the chart: refusal, taboo, raw authenticity, fascination, and the part of the person that does not want to be softened into social convenience.
Lilith is not "perfection" in a clean or moral sense. It is closer to the place where a person says: this cannot be compromised, this cannot be made polite, this cannot be explained away. Depending on the rest of the chart, this can become courage, artistic strangeness, sexual intensity, refusal of domination, or a sharp instinct for what feels false.
